2019 TWICE Year End Special Performances

Another year has gone by and as we say goodbye to 2019, as always we have the year end music specials from SBS, KBS, and MBC. It's been a pretty big year for Twice with their world tour as well as a couple of Korean releases and some Japanese releases as well. We finish off the year with Twice and their stages on the year end music shows.

First up on Christmas Day on SBS, we have Twice performing Fancy as well as a medley of Yes or Yes, Dance the Night Away, and Feel Special. This was probably my favourite of all of their end of year performances. Their outfits were on point. All of the girls looked great. The remixes of Fancy and Feel Special (especially Fancy) also sounded quite good compared to the mess that is a lot of remixed songs for these year end shows.

There was also a special dance performance with Twice's Tzuyu as well as AOA's Seolhyun. You can check it out in the following video. You'll see NU'EST's JR as well as GOT7's Jackson in the first half of the video with their own special dance stage.

One last quick thing I'll throw in here is ITZY's cover of a portion of Twice's song, TT. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love when groups do covers of other groups' songs and it's even better when it's two groups that I love.

Moving on to December 27th, we had KBS's special. Again, Twice performed a couple of their songs from this year, Breakthrough and Feel Special.

And of course there was a special stage with Twice's Nayeon, Red Velvet's Irene, Oh My Girl's Arin, and Apink's Chorong and their performance of Come To Me (orig. M.I.L.K.).

Finally, on New Year's Eve we had some pre-recorded performances since Twice was in Japan for a Japanese year end special. For this we have some fairly standard performances of Feel Special and Fancy. Everyone looks pretty great here.

And the show wouldn't be complete without what I think was Twice's best special stage with Twice's Jihyo and Momo performing Goodbye with SHINee's Taemin.

And that's the year, folks. Lots of great performances to cap off 2019. Overall, I think it was a pretty good year for Twice and hopefully the 2020's will be even better for them and the Kpop industry in general.
