I'm slightly late to the party on this one but yesterday, Everglow released the music video for their new song, La Di Da.
For me personally, my interest was sparked by Yiren as she had participated on Produce 48 and was part of what I thought was a great performance of Side To Side (by Ariana Grande) alongside Gaeun, Sian, and IZ*ONE's Wonyoung. It wasn't until later in 2019 when I realized Yiren had debuted in Everglow and I had heard Adios that I started to have interest in the group and the release of Dun Dun really peaked my interest. Going back and listening to Bon Bon Chocolat though wasn't really anything special in my opinion, though I imagine a lot of people disagree.
In any case, Everglow's back and they got no time for haters. La Di Da is quite a banger. Yiren's "Everglow forever, let's go" before the first chorus is brilliant. Just an enjoyable song overall. It's probably not something I would want to listen to repeatedly as the fast beat and everything is a bit fatiguing but I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would considering I'm not that into Everglow but I think going forward, I'm definitely a fan.
