It's a pretty sad day today as Pledis announced that the fromis_9 members' contracts will expire at the end of 2024 and all of the members would not be renewing. Over the years, fromis_9 has easily become one of my favourite groups and it's really a shame that they weren't recognized more for their talent and their visuals. On the bright side, I would say they at least went out on top with one of the top songs of the year which I'm really grateful for. I'm glad that people everywhere were able to enjoy what the girls had to offer even if it was very late in their time as a group.
I don't know what will happen next for the girls. Could they all sign with a new agency together? Will they all just go their separate ways? Regardless of what happens, I really hope we continue to see more of them in the future whether it's solo or as a group. And if that doesn't happen then, at the very least, I wish them all the best going forward and that they live happy healthy lives.
